Next door to the amazing The Alaska Guys, but that's a different review. Bruno's Bistrot can be counted on to serve delicious Italian Food that reminds you of home Mama Mia! The wife and I shared a French Onion Soup and escargot. Both were excellent. I had Quattro Staggione pizza, one of the best pizzas in town, son had mushroom ravioli, the sauce was amazing. Very extensive menu. Highly recommended.
Look beyond the porch and enter ... u will find a small cosy setting perfect for tete a tete, chats, and ambience for home-cooked cuisine! With French-Italian influence... it was our 1st visit but definitely not the last. Every descriptor on the menu makes decision-making and what to eat a true challenge; not forgetting specials for the day posted on chalkboards!! We had Escargot, Onion Soup, Linguine Arrabbiata with Crabmeat n Pine nuts, Mushroom Ravioli, Quattro Staggioni pizza .... super yummy! Every bite!!!
The food is excellent! The pasta and pizzas did not disappoint. My favorite has to be the burrata with parma ham, the angel hair pasta with truffles and the king prawns pasta However the service provided was terrible! The wait staff were more interested in talking to each other than serving their customers. They did not refill our glasses of water nor did they clear our plates after we were done. When they decided that they were done talking to each other, they cleared some of our plates. Whilst clearing the plates one of the wait staff spilled sauce all over arm. Instead of an apology and offering me a napkin to clean my arm.. All I got from her was an "oops!" Where did they get their wait staff from? The crayfish pasta was yummy but our crayfish was burnt. When we informed the wait staff they said they will check with the chef. My mom observed them talking and giggling instead of checking with the chef. Two minutes later one of the wait staff came back and said "its not burnt it's just the seasoning that is black! " I am really left speechless!
